Ram Kartik is an Associate Software Engineer at Informatica with a passion for problem-solving and providing software solutions to people. With almost two years of experience in the field, he has received training on understanding the working of data governance tools, including Enterprise Data Catalog, for cataloguing metadata for various SQL, NoSQL, cloud, streaming, business intelligence, etc. data source systems. Ram is responsible for providing assistance on product-related issues on Enterprise Data Catalog to customers and troubleshooting the functional issues of the product through a centralized Salesforce case administration tool. He verifies the product's component and services logs to find the root cause of the issue from the product stack trace as raised by the customer. Ram also performs in-house replication on the issues/product limitations encountered by customers and shares the same with R&D for providing remediation through collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence. In addition to his technical responsibilities, Ram contributes to writing knowledge articles to provide internal documentation on various pre-existing issues that can be used by other engineers to support customers efficiently. He collaborates with various teams such as R&D, Security, Q&A, Product Specialist Team, etc., for improving the functionality of the product and to cater to customer queries. Ram holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Gitam Deemed University and has completed his Science degree from Aditya Junior College. He also has a 10 CGPA in 10th grade from Students Careers and has completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya.
